Toyota Corporate and Toyota Insurance Quote websites are on different domains and while cross domain conversion tracking was implemented, the business could only track users who had visited from Toyota Corporate website. As a result, the business lacked insight into the full customer journey.

Solution

Razorfish identified CTAs from the corporate website leading to the quote page on the finance website and implemented a solution which would carry forward the user journey from domain A to domain B. This new customer journey data was stored in a cookie on the finance website and tracked throughout the user journey until the final quote was completed.


This customer journey mapping solution quickly addressed the challenges, created a seamless data flow, and improved the overall experience for everyone from the customer to the teams processing the quotes.
